A patients review on google on her surgical experiences and care given at Aset Hospital
Well what can I say about this unbelievable place. After having previous surgery with a "well known" hospital many years ago and thinking it was great at the time I now realize I was treated like a product on a conveyer belt.
Fast forward to my time with Aset hospital. From the first email enquiry to now 2 days post op with Mr Khan I can honestly say Aset and every single member of the team have been nothing but exceptional, professional,personable, reassuring, always available and genuinely kind and caring. I could carry on but I would run out of adjectives!.
Abby and the reception staff are fantastic and so welcoming with a friendly smile every time the door opens.
Nurses Carla and Sharon and the wonderful health care staff who looked after me during my stay were just amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. I even woke up to birthday banners, a card and birthday cake with a beautiful rendition of "happy birthday" being serenaded to me...I mean you don't get that anywhere else, it wasn't like being in hospital at all, it really was a home from home.
Following discharge home I was suffering alot with pain, and true to their word they have been available 24 hours a day for advice. Kelly, thank you for being so patient, amazing and cheering me on at all hours of the day and night, calling and making sure I was ok it really is appreciated.
And Mr Irfhan Khan and the surgical team.
You have changed my life. I haven't even seen myself without my dressings yet but even with swelling and dressings in place I cried when I saw myself for the first time. The first time in 10 years I didn't feel sad when I looked in the mirror. I felt incredible, like I should have looked all this time. It's early days but I honestly can't thank you enough, I will now at the age of 33 finally be able to wear a bikini with confidence! And not feel self conscious 24/7. Something which has been on my bucket list for many years.
I have already recommended this incredible place to ALOT of people and I don't feel like any review would ever do it justice in conveying just how excellent the care is but if anyone reading this is considering any other hospitals, don't bother, Aset really are the gold standard with no other hospital coming close in comparison!
