What Is Double Bubble, And How Can I Correct It?

Double bubble is a breast augmentation post-operative deformity. The implant drops lower than the breast on the chest wall.
This forms a bulge beneath the breast, forming an indentation that runs along the breast's lower curve, looking like a pair of bubbles on top of each other – Double bubble.
This can occur immediately after surgery or gradually over time.

Causes Of Double Bubble

Correction Of Double Bubble

A double bubble requires revision surgery to replace the current implant with a smaller one, changing the position of the implant and/or adjustment of the breast pocket/inframammary crease,
breast uplift to help with droopy breasts or Capsulectomy to deal with the capsular contracture.
