Mr Deemesh Oudit is highly reputable and well-known in the northwest region. He is a member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Manchester University teaching and research in the field of plastic surgery.
He has an NHS practice at the Christie Hospital in Manchester, an internationally renowned Institution. Mr Oudit has been a Consultant Plastic Surgeon for over 10 years and has significant prior experience in plastic surgery. At the Christie Hospital, he has developed a reputation for being one of the foremost onco-plastic surgeons in the UK and has led the development of a lymphoedema surgery service – one of the few in the UK.
Mr Ouditb began his career at the University of Manchester where he graduated with a Medical Degree in 1966. Following this, he completed an extensive training scheme in surgery across numerous centres of excellence before focusing on plastic surgery. He was appointed as a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2010 and has made an enviable reputation in his field. During his career in plastic surgery, he has contributed to almost 50 publications in the international literature, written 3 books on plastic surgery for trainee-plastic surgeons and medical students has been heavily published, including a plastic surgery medical textbook, and has presented at a national and international level. He remains actively involved in Medical Education and created a teaching app for trainee plastic surgeons to improve technique and knowledge.
