Facelifts what are the different types available at Aset Hospital

Different types of Facelifts

There are several types of facelift procedures, each tailored to address specific ageing concerns and achieve different aesthetic goals. Some of the most common types of facelifts include:

  1. Traditional facelift: This is the most common type of facelift, which involves making an incision along the hairline and down around the ear to access the underlying facial tissues. The surgeon then lifts and tightens the skin and underlying muscles, removes excess fat and skin, and re-drapes the skin for a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance.
  2. Mini facelift: This procedure is less invasive than a traditional facelift and is typically recommended for patients with mild to moderate sagging skin and wrinkles. The incisions are smaller and are made along the hairline and around the ear. The surgeon lifts and tightens the skin and muscles, but the procedure is less extensive and involves less skin removal.
  3. Mid facelift: This procedure is designed to address sagging skin and wrinkles in the mid-face area, including the cheeks and lower eyelids. The surgeon makes incisions around the temple area and under the lower eyelids to lift and reposition the underlying tissue, giving the face a more youthful appearance.
  4. Thread facelift: This non-surgical facelift procedure involves inserting small threads under the skin to lift and reposition sagging tissue. This procedure is less invasive than traditional facelifts and can provide some improvement in skin laxity and wrinkles.
  5. Liquid facelift: This is another non-surgical facelift procedure that involves injecting dermal fillers and/or Botox into the face to fill in wrinkles, restore volume, and provide a more youthful appearance.
